Ask about shopping habits, needs, and likes.
1. Grammar: Present simple: do/does and negatives
Ask Do + I/you/we/they + base verb? or Does + he/she/it + base verb? Use do not (don’t) or does not (doesn’t) before the base verb for negatives. After does/doesn’t, do not add -s to the main verb.
- Do you + verb? → Do you buy rice?
- Does she + verb? → Does she like bread?
- I don’t + verb. → I don’t need milk.
- She doesn’t + verb. → She doesn’t eat meat.
- What do you need? → I need bread.
