A: Hey, are you free this Saturday?
B: I think so! I don't have anything planned. What did you have in mind?
A: I was thinking we could check out that new restaurant on Fifth Street. I've heard really good things.
B: Oh, that sounds great! What time were you thinking?
A: How about seven in the evening? Does that work for you?
B: Seven works perfectly. I'll see you there!

Natural Phrases to Know

Suggesting plans

How about...? What if we...? I was thinking we could... Would you be up for...? Have you ever thought about...? We should definitely try...

Agreeing to plans

Sounds great! I'm in! That works for me! I'd love that! Count me in! That sounds like a plan!

When you can't make it

I'm sorry, I can't make it that day. I wish I could, but I already have plans. Could we maybe reschedule to...? I'm a bit tied up that day — how about...? Rain check? I'd love to go another time!
