Dialogue Sample

A: I think stricter regulation is the only way to fix the tech industry.
B: I see it differently. Regulation often lags too far behind the technology to be effective.
A: But without rules, companies will just do whatever's profitable.
B: That's a fair point, but it assumes regulation is the only alternative to no rules — and I'm not sure that holds up. Self-regulation with transparent accountability has worked in other sectors.
A: With respect, I think that's quite optimistic.
B: I take a different view — but I'd challenge that assumption too. I'd push back on the idea that government bodies have the technical knowledge to regulate effectively right now.
