B: Hi! I'd like to book a haircut appointment, please.
A: Of course! When were you thinking?
B: Sometime this week if possible — preferably in the afternoon.
A: We have Wednesday at 3 PM or Friday at 4:30 PM available.
B: Wednesday at 3 works great for me!
A: Perfect! Can I take your name? And do you have a stylist preference?
B: It's Jordan Lee. No preference — whoever's available is fine.

Natural Phrases to Know

Making the booking

I'd like to book an appointment. I was wondering if I could make a booking. I'd like to reserve a slot for... Is it possible to schedule a [service]? Do you have any openings this week?

Stating your preference

Preferably in the morning / afternoon. Sometime this week if possible. As soon as possible, please. I'm flexible — whatever works. Not too early in the morning, if that's okay.

Confirming the booking

Just to confirm, that's [day] at [time]? And the address is...? How long does the appointment usually take? Is there anything I should bring? Great, I'll see you then!

Rescheduling

I need to move my appointment, please. Could we push it to [time/day]? Something came up — is it okay to reschedule? Rain check? I'd love to come another time.
